What happened between Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

Between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Jesus’ body was placed in a tomb after His crucifixion. This period is often seen as a time of silence, grief, and waiting for His followers, who did not yet fully understand what would happen next.

Scripture indicates that while His body rested in the tomb, His redemptive work was being fulfilled. This time represents the completion of His sacrifice and the anticipation of victory over death.

For the disciples, it was a time of confusion and fear. Their hope seemed lost, yet God was working behind the scenes to accomplish His plan. What appeared to be defeat was actually leading to the greatest victory.

This period reminds believers that even when God seems silent, He is still at work. The resurrection that followed proves that God’s purposes are never stopped, even in moments that seem hopeless.
