Did Jesus really rise from the dead?

The resurrection of Jesus is central to the Christian faith and is presented in the Bible as a real, historical event. The accounts describe the empty tomb, eyewitness testimonies, and the transformation of the disciples as evidence that Jesus truly rose.

Multiple witnesses claimed to have seen Jesus alive after His death. These included His disciples and many others, some of whom were initially doubtful. Their bold proclamation, even in the face of persecution, supports the reality of what they experienced.

The resurrection also explains the rapid growth of early Christianity. The message spread because people were convinced that Jesus had risen, and this belief changed their lives completely.

For believers, the resurrection is not just history but the foundation of faith. It confirms Jesus’ authority, validates His teachings, and assures the promise of eternal life.
